The factor of well-being is what is important: you are awaited by a wonderful old parlour with cosy tile stove. Here, in the Barbara parlour, and in the Tomi Ungerer parlour with their wainscoted walls and panelled ceilings we proudly serve classical Spielweg restaurant dishes: creative regional cuisine, elaborately combined and matched to the time of year. Karl-Josef Fuchs and his team prefer preparing dishes with ingredients from the Black Forest nature park. No compromise: The chosen ingredients are of highest quality. Southern Germany is blessed with a unique landscape, where cattle and lambs graze all year long; the warm climate and the magnificent soil, the wonderful wines from the Kaiserstuhl, Ortenau and the Markgräflerland.
