We have our own tennis court; rental rackets and balls are available at reception … now nothing stands in the way of a game or two on the court.

WALKS & HIKES

Allow yourself to be surprised by a countless number of versatile paths. One special feature is the Westweg, a part of which can be covered on the very tops of the Black Forest from the Feldberg to Belchen. Far away from the noise and the stress of the city, the paths lead you over the impressive Black Forest mountains, providing you with an overwhelming view across to the Vosges mountains on a clear day. There are even hikes that lead directly from Spielweg into sunny Münstertal … we will happily provide you with tips – as well as a dog to go along with you on request.

CYCLING & MONTAIN BIKING

For those who enjoy mountain biking, there is a diverse range of things to do. Bikers are able to explore the mountains and forests on trails for all levels: more challenging or easier trails turn cycling into a fun experience for everyone.

SKIING, SNOWBOARDING & SNOWSHOEING

In winter ski tourers are enticed by the surrounding slopes of the local mountain Branden. Those who enjoy snowshoeing are able to discover magnificent landscapes on lonely trails. The Schauinsland provides cross-country skiing trails and lifts. And Feldberg too is close by.

And, of course, we will reveal all the local tobogganing spots to you.

FISHING

We have a fishing license and plenty of water in the surrounding area. Therefore, guests with a fishing permit can borrow an approval, after talking to reception and catch their dinner themselves. Whether the kitchen is willing to provide a pan on the stove is negotiable.
